About Biscotti di Montare

My biscotti journey started simply with me baking batches of biscotti first for loved ones over the holidays and then later for friends and extended family. After many years of perfecting my recipes and developing new flavors, I decided to make my treats available to everyone and started Biscotti di Montare.

 

Like many families of Italian and French descent, the Montares have had a love affair with food for as long as anyone can remember. Rumor has it that one of my ancestors made pastries for Napoleon Bonaparte during his exile on the island of Elba. I like to think that baking is in my blood and that my ancestors are looking over my shoulder when I am at my worktable. I hope that our love and pride in making the best food possible comes through in each batch we make.
